Privacy statement
Dromenbouw takes your privacy seriously. This statement explains which personal data we process, for what purpose, how long we keep it and what rights you have. This is a translation of our Dutch privacy statement; in the event of any discrepancy, the Dutch version prevails.
Who are we?
Dromenbouw is a renovation company and contractor based in Eindhoven, working throughout Noord-Brabant. We are the controller for the processing of your personal data as described in this statement.

What data do we process?
We only process data you provide yourself, mainly through the contact and quote form on our website:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- The content of your message (for example details about your project)
We also process technical data recorded automatically when you visit our website, such as your IP address and browser type, solely to keep the website working correctly and securely.
What do we use your data for?
We use your data solely to:
- answer your request or question and get in touch with you;
- prepare a quote and deliver our services;
- keep the website functioning properly and securely.
The legal basis is your consent and/or the performance of a contract, including steps taken at your request before entering into one.
How long do we keep your data?
We keep your data no longer than necessary for the purposes it was collected for. Enquiries that do not lead to an assignment are kept for a maximum of 12 months. Data relating to an assignment is kept as long as necessary and to meet our statutory (tax) retention obligation of 7 years.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your data. We do use service providers that process data on our behalf (processors):
- FormSubmit — processes submissions from our contact form and forwards them to our email address;
- Cloudflare — hosting and security of the website;
- Google (Workspace) — our business email.
These parties process your data solely on our instructions.
Transfers outside the EU
FormSubmit is based in the United States. This means the data you enter in the contact form is transferred to a country outside the European Economic Area, where the level of protection differs from that within the EU.
Would you rather avoid that? Call or email us directly at [email protected] or (+31) 06 30405888. Your data then does not pass through the form and stays within the EU.
Cookies: we do not use any
This website sets no cookies at all. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no tracking of any kind. That is also why you will not find a cookie banner on this site: there is nothing to accept or refuse.
The fonts are loaded from our own server rather than through Google Fonts, so your IP address is not shared with Google simply because you visit the site.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. For example, all traffic to and from our website runs over a secure (HTTPS) connection.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- Access — to ask which data we hold about you;
- Rectification — to have incorrect data corrected;
- Erasure — to have your data deleted;
- Restriction — to have the processing temporarily halted;
- Objection — to object to the processing;
- Data portability — to receive your data in a common format or have it transferred;
- Withdrawal of consent — where the processing is based on consent.
Eén e-mail naar [email protected] is enough. We respond as soon as possible, and within four weeks at the latest.
We do not take decisions based on automated processing or profiling.
Filing a complaint
Not satisfied with how we handle your data? You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

We may update this privacy statement from time to time. The most current version is always on this page.
